Nice evening

Well we had a nice evening ride this evening. Chrissy was riding Cheyenne and I was on Fancy. It was the cutest thing, Katie walked on over found Cheyenne and followed her around up until we passed the hay bale and then eating won her over and she stopped following. It was so cute though.

Katies Video

I was bored over the weekend so I decided to make a Video about Katie.
I think that I will make one for each of the horses over the weekends when it is just to darn hot to ride :-)

Katie is looking good

Vet was just out here to draw a Coggins on one of my horses and she took a look at Katie's cut again, and talk to me about it, and said that it was looking good. Looks like all the infection is just about out of there and now all we have to do is get it to dry up. So we are treating with the Nitrofurozone and a powered med alternating weeks so that it will dry up and really start to heal.

Thundering Hooves

I wish that I had my camera on me last night. My daughter and I went out to feed the horses about 9 last night, it was pretty dark out there and the hay bale is all the way at the other end of the pasture. Well the horses heard the buckets banging together and came running. It was the coolest thing all you could hear was the thunder of hooves and what a beautiful site to see Katie pulling up the rear galloping right along with the rest of them!

Hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July

I snapped a few pics this morning when I went out to feed and thought that I would post them. Yes her feet are due for a trim farrier is coming out next week when she is back from vacation.
Oh and I just LOVE the pic that I took of my year old Great Dane Daisy so I thought that I would post that too. Hope that everyone has a great holiday weekend.

Almost there

Well it is wend and I only have 1 more day till the weekend!!!! That is all that I have to say. I will be posting a few more pics tommorow since it is going to be bath day these horses are SO dirty from rolling in the sand to keep cool.
